About
Hey, I’m Petie Clark.
I’m a CloudOps engineer, integration consultant, and full-time tinkerer.
I work in systems—cloud systems, home systems, sometimes duct-taped-together systems.
This site is where I document the real stuff I’m building, breaking, and fixing:
- Homelab projects (Proxmox, K8s, music, backups, all of it)
- Cloud deployments and automation pipelines
- DevOps tooling and integration workflows
- Case studies from freelance gigs and small businesses
- Random terminal experiments that went better than expected
I’m not here to teach best practices or chase clout. I write these posts because:
- I like solving problems
- I like documenting things so I don’t forget how I solved them
- And if it helps someone else figure out their stack, even better
🛠 My Stack (Right Now)
- Proxmox + MicroK8s
- Docker + Ansible + Tailscale
- AWS + Lightsail
- ESP32s, plenty of pi, self-hosted everything, and whatever’s running in the corner of my office.
🤝 Work With Me
I occasionally take on freelance or contract work, especially for:
- Small businesses needing integration or automation help
- Labs or agencies who want self-hosted tools without enterprise prices
- Teams that want someone who can build and ship infrastructure that works
If that’s you, reach out or hit me up on LinkedIn.
🏡 Life Outside the Terminal
I’m a husband, dad of four, former worship pastor, and a full-time Star Wars nerd (Boba Fett > everyone).
When I’m not writing code or wiring up servers, I’m usually cooking, reading, or working on our small homestead in Southeast Georgia.
Thanks for being here.
Stick around—there’s plenty more in the logs.
